Nepal - Kathmandu

We crossed into Nepal after quite a hair raising drive deep into a valley, the views were amazing but the road was pretty wild, reminded me a lot of the bike ride we took in Bolivia a few years back.

Stopped about 15K's away from the border in an amazing place where you slept in really nice tents, with beds. The food was all inclusive and there was a 160m bungy jump. I decided not to do the bungy this time as I have done a big one and couldn't really justify the expense, it looked excellent though!

We did do a huge hike to the top of the mountains though and this was so hard I thought I was going to die in the humidity, it was easy to walk at over 5000m compared to this.

Great views though.

Spent quite some time in Kathmandu awaiting Laurens arrival. Unfortunatly the monsoon put in a late burst and it rained pretty constantly the whiole time I was there. This meant having to stay in bars a lot of the time!
