Train Ride to Lhasa
It was difficult to get train tickets to Tibet but managed in the end, for a small fee!!
48 hours after leaving Beijing and traveling at an altitude of over 5500 meters through a mountain pass we arrived in the capital of the now 'liberated' city of Lhasa.
