Agra

We took another train from Varanasi to Agra. This was a night train leaving at 5.20pm and getting to Agra at 6am.

The train finally arrived at Varanasi at 2am and left at 3am. We got to Agra at 7pm. This I think is a sign of things to come!!

I had become quite sick the night we were leaving too and so this was quite an uncomfortable journey.

The next day though we were pleased to meet an autorickshaw driver who goes by the name of Vicky. He took us around all of the sites and was extremely pleasant with lots of funny stories to share.

We saw the Taj Mahal, the fort and also the baby Taj Mahal, I can't remember the real name but this was built years before the famous Taj Mahal and is equally good to take a look around.

We also took a day trip down to Fatehpur Sikri to see one of Emperor Akbar's palaces and mosques, all very interesting but the touts around the place would again test the patience of a saint.
