Pokara

After the mammoth walk we just arrived in Pokara to relax. We were there in time to catch England - South Africa in the rugby final and lots of bars were saying they had it on.

This was great but the game was on at 1.30 in the morning, we all got on the beers at about 2pm and drank the day away, 1.30am came and it was then that all the bars realized that they didn't in fact have the correct channel and they were all full of some pretty drunken and quite annoyed people!!

Pokara has lots of cool things to do like paragliding but after my previous flying record I decided to keep my feet on the ground, several friends had a fly though and gave excellent reports.

We then arranged a rafting trip down the Seti River as a means of getting to Chitwan National Park. This was a great couple of days and the waters were kind to us, no fall ins and the food the guys cooked up was always excellent.
