Jaiselmer

Jaiselmer has a beautiful old walled city in the center of town. Unfortunately due to too many people now residing there it is actually sinking into the ground and is falling to bits in places. A huge drive is on to preserve this relic for generations to come and a push is on to stop any hotels operating within the walls.

We stayed outside which was lovely anyway and we had excellent views of the lit walled city from there.

From here is where many people take a few days camel ride. We decided to just take a short afternoon ride and watch the sunset over the dunes in the desert.
