Pushkar

We stayed in Pushkar a few days as the huge camel fair started. About 50,000 camels are traded over this week which finishes with a huge number of people taking a dip in the holy lake, this is part of the main religious festival that the camel fair runs alongside.

Good carnival atmosphere and loads of entertainment, there were a few locals verses visitors sports too, I was involved in the visiting team for international Kabadi and another game I can't remember the name of. We obviously got thrashed in both but were filmed by national television which was nice.

Missed the end of the event as time was short and room prices were stupid, did have a great opening night though with an excellent fireworks display.
